TATTOO REMOVAL WITH Q-SWITCH LASER (Part-1)
Famously known as the one laser to beat many skin problems, the Q Switch Laser is also an excellent therapy for removing tattoos.
The laser breaks down the tattoo pigment into particles that are naturally swept away by the body’s lymphatic system.
It’s safe and it’s accurate.
Full removal of the tattoo takes an average of 6 to 8 treatment sessions (depending on the size of the tattoo). Ideally these laser treatment sessions must be spaced 3 to 5 weeks apart.
It is noteworthy, that some ink colours respond better to the treatment than others. Dark blues and greens are removed far easier than the lighter yellows and whites. For an optimum result, at least 6 to 8 sessions are advised, with a gap of around 12 to 15 days.
Better results are observed when the Q-Switch Laser treatment is combined with other exfoliating treatments like microdermabrasion and chemical peels.
